Tree Facts

We here at Modlin's tree farm have been in the process, since we took over from Nicholson's to rebuild the farm to its original supply of different trees; back to its original beauty which most of our past customers’ will remember. Each time you return to visit us you will see more seedlings being planted. We have been doing this each year and our work will not have been in vain when we reach the level we ourselves remember, for all of our unwavering hours put in, our goal is to provide our customers with a variety of choice trees.

WE ARE CLOSED UNTIL NEXT YEAR.  THANKS TO OUR PATRONS FOR THEIR CONTINUED SUPPORT AND WE WISH EVERYONE A VERY HAPPY, HEALTHY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR 2010.

This field was planted in memory of Oscar T. Nicholson (Dad) thanks to the generosity of the Herndon's and their staff.

In the years to come these baby trees will grow tall and strong. We can think of no better way to honor Oscar than by continuing the planting and nurturing of these and many more new trees.

The Modlins' Tree Farm family extends our best wishes for a Happy Holiday Season and looks forward to your visit once again this year.

Modlin's is here for your Christmas tree needs.  Make sure you come out to visit with us beginning November 27.  Let us help you find that perfect tree. We look forward to giving you service with a smile.

CASH, CHECK, VISA & MASTERCARD ACCEPTED.

A Soldier Is A Gift
As we celebrate Christmas, and we open our gifts, we realize what priceless gifts a soldier gives to our country—the gifts of patriotism, service, and deep dedication to our nation. While we are surrounded by Christmas comforts, we remember soldiers in places we would not want to be, bringing the gift of adaptability to any situation, no matter how harsh or difficult.  At Christmas, let us wrap our hearts and minds around our treasured soldiers. May they understand how very much their service means to us.  Let us send the Christmas gifts of love, respect and admiration to our steadfast, loyal, magnificent warriors and their essential civilian support staff.  They themselves are the most precious Christmas gift of all, our protectors—our soldiers.

Each year we are blessed with great customers and your groups are so welcome.  One group in particular has maintained their relationship with the tree farm since it was Nicholson's and they are the "Herndon's."   We appreciate their return each year, we know they enjoy themselves as much as we enjoy having them.  We take this opportunity once again to thank them for their donations last year which allowed us to plant "Oscar's Field" in memory of Oscar Nicholson.
